Strawberry Jam ♬

Jam is easy to make because all you need are fruit and sugar..!

Ingredients : [for a medium-sized jar]
☻ 1 package of strawberries
☻ 2/3 cup sugar, lemon

How to make :

1. Wash the strawberries throughly, then dry them and cut off the tops.

2. Put the strawberries in a bowl, and add sugar. Mix using a spoon. Squeeze the lemon into the bowl. Let sit for an hour. The juice will come out and the sugar will dissolve.


3. Put the mix into a stainless steel pot and place over low heat. Mix with a wooden spoon so that it won't stick to the pot. Simmer for 20 minutes.


4. The jam will thicken as it cools, so it's okay if it seems too juicy now. Put the jam into a jar while the jam is hot. (Try to put it in a jar that's been washed in hot water and completely dried). After it cools, keep it in the refrigerator. Use within two weeks.


Jam goes great with bread and scones.
